Domus Maria is a historic gem set in a former 15th-century Carmelite monastery. The minimalist rooms retain the monastic charm, offering peaceful views into tranquil courtyards. Just steps away from the amazing Gate of Dawn and several good eateries, the location is unbeatable. The breakfast buffet was a good surprise, showcasing a generous spread of local cheeses, meats, and fruits, served in a beautifully vaulted refectory.

It has very, very nice personnel and airy rooms with good size bathrooms.

Nice place! Very good central location next to Dawns Gate. Spotless cleaning, basic equipment in room, good breakfast, thick soundproof walls as a former 16th century monastery.

The unique, historic architecture adds charm to the experience while the breakfast buffet offers a decent selection, including surprising options like curried chicken croissants.
The central heating wasn't operational during the early October stay. The TV only had one working English channel, and it failed to function for most of the visit. The somewhat uncomfortable beds left something to be desired.

Nice atmosphere, as it's located in an old monastery. The hotel is located at the edge of the old town, near the central bus and train station. The staff was very polite. The breakfast was included and not bad for the price we paid. Very clean bathroom. Good value for money, I suppose.
The attic room we were offered was rather small and there was no air conditioning, which made it unpleasant to stay inside during the day. The furniture is somewhat old. There *is* singing coming from a nearby church in the morning, so light sleepers should be warned. Regarding the tv, I didn't mind, because I don't normally watch tv when on holidays, but for those interested the tv in the room had poor reception and even poorer choice of channels.

Generous breakfast with pastry and salads, for instance. Clean restaurant, beautifully maintained and airy room with including a kettle, shower instead of bath, for example...
Beds were a little small.

perfect spot for exploring landmarks and parks nearby
my stay in a single room was enjoyable, thanks to the really good proximity to the Gate of Dawn and the amazing Bernardine Park, just a pleasant stroll away, making it easy to dive into the city's rich history and nature during my weekend getaway.

Excellent location next to the Gates of Dawn and fairly quiet for a city centre hotel. Small but comfortable room on the top floor (ok as a single, would be cramped for 2).
Noises from other rooms / corridor easy to hear, but other guests quiet so not really a problem.

Charming hotel with unique atmosphere near the Gate of Dawn. The breakfast lacked variety, but the local options were nice.

We had a quite comfortable stay still in the old town.
The location was unbeatable and incredible, close enough to the town center and Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Castle, Mindaugas bridge and and main bus station and other transport. Furthermore, in a church nearby. The breakfast of our place was very good for a snack with a beer, greatly enjoyed it.

Good location in the old town, really close to the gates of dawn. The staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were very comfortable and they serve a good breakfast.
The only thing that annoyed us a bit was that every morning we woke up with people singing at the church that is located right next to the hotel. It wasn't very loud, but woke us up anyway.

Great location, very kind staff, good services.
Only one remark, wi-fi did not work on some reason.

The location at the edge of Old Town made exploring so easy. Proximity to the Dawn Gate and nearby restaurants enhanced my stay. Breakfast options were extensive, with delicious local breads, meats, and cheeses. I appreciated having a kettle with tea options right in the room. The staff's amicable nature really stood out. They even offered us umbrellas when rain was forecasted! The Wi-Fi connection in my room was disappointingly poor was great. Despite being clean, my room felt slightly austere without decorative touches. The sound isolation wasn't great, resulting in occasional disturbances from other guests in the hallway.

Quiet hotel, not noisy, central, comfortable beds
At the arrival I was assigned a room that was really poor: an attic with a small window and two beds against the walls, among whom were about 50 cm.: A marginal room of little value, certainly different from that shown in photos Fortunately, at my request, the reception immediately has replaced it with a better room! So why groped to give me a poor room ? This irritated me greatly!
